English Speech on River Vaigai for kindergarten

Ø Respected dignitaries on the dice and all ladies and gentlemen splendid morning to all..

Ø Myself R.Dhananjaiyan I am studying in Mepco Schlenk Nursery and Primary school.

Ø There is a saying “ One positive thought in the morning can change our entire day” For that Today I am here to spell about The glory of river vaigai. Literally speaking its glory is immeasurable. 

Ø What is the first thing will come into your mind when you think of vaigai? Any guesses?? “Thermocol” NO for me its Glory. it makes the Madurai united .Right?

Ø River Vaigai is a precious gift of nature.

Ø Vaigai means the river that brings water when one touches it. It is an holy angel of Tamilnadu, which was narrated in several ancient tamil literature by the famous poets and scholars.

Ø We can see its reference even in Silapathikaram which is one of the five greatest epics of Tamil literature.

Ø The sangam literates around 300 BC called Vaigai as the lifeline of Pandyas. It was the ancient capital of Pandyas.

Ø The river Vaigai originates in Varusanadu hills.  

Ø It flows nearly 258 km around Madurai districts .

Ø Its unique glory is that it does not drain into a sea but empties into the Palk Strait in Ramanathapuram District.  

Ø How should I forget about chithirai thiruvilla while talking about the glory of vaigai.

Ø It unites all religion without any caste ,creed and religious bar. It is rightly called as the symbol of unity.

Ø While talking about the glory we should always remember the present sorry state of vaigai.

Ø It was severely affected due to urbanization and deforestation.

Ø Any damage to the water body would affect our future generation.

Ø Instead of covering the river with thermocol our government should take necessary steps to revive the river.

Ø According to ancient myth one who reads / listens the story about the glory of vaigai river their sins will destroy

Ø Let me take the privilege of being that agent of change and I stop my.
